What is « Veri Catholici »?
« Veri Catholici », which in Latin means, “True Catholics”, is the proper name of the International Association of Catholics who have decided to take up the call of the Most Rev. Athanasius Schneider to preserve the eternal Faith taught by Our Lord Jesus Christ as it has been handed down in the Catholic Church throughout all the ages.
We are zealously devoted to the defense of the doctrine revealed by means of St. Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, in his First Letter to the Corinthians, chapter 11, verses 26-27, which is:
26: For howsoever often you will have eaten this Bread and drink this Chalice, you announce the Death of the Lord, until He comes.
27: And so, whosoever will have eaten the Bread and/or have drunk the Chalice of the Lord will be liable for the Body and Blood of the Lord.

in which words the entire faith of the One and True Church of Christ is expressed, inasmuch as the true presence of the Body of Christ in the most august Sacrament of the Altar is affirmed and the obligation of the recipient who is to approach is restricted under grave terms to those alone who are in a moral conformity with Christ the Lord.
Behold the true Faith of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, founded by the historic Christ and faithful throughout all ages to the Magisterium of this Incarnate Word, the Son of God: the Faith which unites the assent of the intellect, to all the truths revealed by Christ and the Apostles and Prophets, with the rejection of all sins and vices in penitence, in particular those which are adverse to modesty, chastity and purity.
The Members of the Association publicly profess their own personal adherence to the essence and spirit of the Association and, inasmuch as it be possible for them, their own collaboration to promote its ends.

All Catholics who freely share these ends may join themselves to the Association as members by means of a public profession of the same and, for those with social media, by a display of the logo of the Association linked to the official blog of the Association.
The ends of the Association will be promoted through the sponsorship of conferences and the distribution of information, via the website of our Association, in a variety of formats, to strengthen the faith of fellow Catholics, whether members of the clergy, religious or laity.

I like the idea and so I am now sporting the logo. It’s another avenue to join in for the defense of the fullness of the Faith.
‘Quod Ubique, Quod Semper, Quod ab Omnibus’—St Vincent of Lérins. The True Faith must be Defended and Propagated.
I fully support Veri Catholici and share your worries, but am concerned that the movement is weak in fundamental theology. On the blog of the Catholic Truth of Scotland, for example, I attempted to explain why faith in Jesus is primary and doctrines are secondary. But no one was willing to discuss the matter. I was dismissed as a “modernist.”
Faith in Jesus is primary, but since that necessarily includes faith in all He taught and all which His teachings imply, that Faith embraces doctrine too, as a secondary but essential object.
